Bio/Description: Troy is married to Heather and has two children, Meaghan and Nicolas. Heather grew up in Ecuador, and Troy grew up in Minnesota. He has never gone ice fishing but had a giant mosquito stuffed once—it is mounted proudly over his fireplace.
Troy and Heather have been serving with Christian Associates in Europe since 1998. They served for three years in Barcelona where they helped start the International Church of Barcelona. Then, they served for four years as team leaders to start a new church in the suburbs of Madrid called Mountainview. After that, they served for four more years as team leaders to start a church that was birthed out of Mountainview called Oasis Madrid. They moved back to the Chicago area in mid-2010.
Troy enjoys drama and is glad that his Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup. A little known fact about Troy is that he is incredibly funny. And modest.
His wife's favorite hobby is eye-rolling.
