Bio/Description: Steve and Linda first got involved with Christian Associates in 1991, volunteering as short-term team coordinators. By January of 1993, Steve had made the transition into a full-time role. Steve served as Executive VP until a couple of years ago, when he jumped at the chance to oversee CA's expansion into Latin America.
A few of Steve's favorite things in ministry:
- helping leaders discover innovative ways to live out the gospel in new contexts
- building strategic partnering relationships
- dreaming and exploring with others about how the church can be all that God intends for it to be in extending His kingdom in all its fullness
Prior to joining CA, Steve earned a doctorate in Music Education at the University of Southern California. He began his career as a public school music teacher and later became a university professor, training teachers. Linda has been a Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics for 19 years and was a high school Spanish teacher prior to that. 2010 marked their 30thanniversary. Their daughters, Claire (18) and Maddie (16), are both in high school. All of the Adams' love to ski, and all, in one way or another, enjoy the performing arts.
