Bio/Description:  We both became Christian believers in the UK in the 1960's and our church experience is very diverse, due to the International company for which Bill was working, who had us live in a variety of locations.   After travelling more of the world than was known when Columbus discovered America, the company started to send our pay check to Portugal, where we met the CA team planting Riverside International Church.  We quickly found that we related to these people and to what they were doing and became involved in any way that we could with the team. 

After about five years Bill left Rolls-Royce and worked part time for the church and part time as a consultant in the aviation sector.  A year or so later we felt a clear call from the Lord to move to Portugal's second city, Porto and continue the church planting work there.  That's what we are doing now. 

The church is planted and we feel like it is a hospital shop for just about anyone that God sends our way.  We have been blessed with business people, musicians, students and scientists, many of whom stay for a few weeks to a few years before they return to their home countries to look for progressive churches. 

Please pray for us and for Riverside Porto church.  We have two grown-up daughters living in the UK with their families and, although for five years Bill was travelling between Porto and Lisbon (200+ miles) every weekend,  we now work full-time in the church. We have plenty of vacancies on our support team – there's only us!
