Bio/Description: Sasha and Katka are Czech nationals, living and serving in Prague, CZ. They were married just before the Velvet Revolution in 1989, and have 4 children: Viki (21), Klara (18), Alex (11), and Adam (10). Right from their conversion some 24 years ago, Sasha and Katka were involved in (then underground) church-planting movement. The congregation in Prague grew to some 250 members, and helped around a dozen new churches to start all over the country. After the fall of Communism, a Bible school, a publishing house, and a mercy-ministry were added.

In the mid-90's Sasha left the pastorate, and went back to school, earning his MTh in Biblical studies, as he felt called to translate the Bible into contemporary Czech language. Some fifteen years later, in 2009 the new Czech version called Bible21 was published, and became #1 national bestseller.

Since then, he and Katka are involved in church-planting again. The dream they and their friends in Prague have is to see "a normal church for normal people" in their beautiful city. Besides their partnership with CAI, the Prague church-plant also develops a relationship with Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, NYC.

Sasha is not blessed with any manual skills, so please, don't ask him to do something with his hands. He prefers to work with his head only. Also, he's an avid art lover, but, of course, can't make anything close to art – so he's married an artist.
