HUD MCWILLIAMS

Hud1.jpgHud McWilliams has worked with Christian Associates since 1976.  He has also taught in university for a decade. Pastored for two decades and has had a private practice for forty years. Christian Associates started out being a school at a UCLA fraternity house called, "The Jesus Christ Light and Power House".  The school eventually turned into a degree granting institute and moved to TX.  It was called CABS - "Center for Advanced Biblical Studies.  Linus Morris the founder of Christian Associates, International, took the name, and started taking  basketball teams to Europe to play country teams over seas.  The teams would play guitars and tell folks about Jesus in their lives during half-time.  These europeans wanted to know more about this "Jesus", so Linus and the teams would say, "Plug into a church somewhere".  Well, there were very few if any, life-giving churches in which to worship.  This is when Linus felt "called" to Europe to begin this grassroots movement of starting churches, targeting international people in Europe, which is now expanding to different continents.

The rest is history.  Hud and Linus were friends and Linus asked Hud to go over with him to Europe expressly for training, teaching and counseling staff members joining Christian Associates.  Hud is a pastor, teacher, psychologist, and Linus needed someone like Hud to nourish the staff with his gifts.

Hud is the "resource pastor"  for the teams and staff members of Christian Associates.  His expertise is in relational growth, and life long development.

He teaches seminars on, marriage, parenting and relational retreats, Testing and Assessing leaders, and leadership development.
